Zinfandel, Primitivo and Falanghina Wines
One of the best well-known sorts of red wine is the Zinfandel. This variety of red grape is endemic in California and noted for its rich taste with touches of smell of raspberry. It is grown in warm locations and in bunches. This kind matures early; even so, irregular pattern in aging occurs. This is one disadvantage because the reaping will be one at a time instead of a single harvesting for all the fruits. Also, because it grows in a tight bunch, there are instances that it gives in to waste. One trait also of this Zinfandel wine is being “hot” in the roof of the mouth because of its strong alcoholic content but it was now gentled by winemakers using new innovations. Zinfandel has this specific characteristic also that kept its terrior or the feature that it inherits due to the geography where it is planted and the winemakers own distinct way of wine production.
